New sweeping arms for Rijkswaterstaat

We are honoured that Rijkswaterstaat (The Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management) ordered three MRD 525-C Offshore sweeping arms which will be added to their Oil Spill Response equipment. Meanwhile, the first sweeping arm has been delivered and made operational on the m.s. “Arca”, the Government owned Pollution Control Vessel.

This new model sweeping arm allows for higher sweeping speeds and thus increased efficiency. Additionally, the arm is easier to clean after use compared to previous models.
