We are honoured that Rijkswaterstaat (The Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management) ordered three MRD 525-C Offshore sweeping arms which will be added to their Oil Spill Response equipment. Meanwhile, the first sweeping arm has been delivered and made operational on the m.s. “Arca”, the Government owned Pollution Control Vessel.

This new model sweeping arm allows for higher sweeping speeds and thus increased efficiency. Additionally, the arm is easier to clean after use compared to previous models.

We thank Rijkswaterstaat for their trust in our equipment and wish the crew of the m.s. “Arca” best of luck!

MRD Marinesupport has become the exclusive dealer for the Jellyfishbot, a cutting-edge underwater robot developed by IADYS. This remarkable device is designed to perform underwater measurements and efficiently collect waste and oil, making it a valuable asset in the maritime industry.

From May 18th to May 20th, 2023, the tugboat days took place in Vianen. We were present with the MRD-Commander, the MRD-Navigator, and the MRD-Observer. You can watch the footage of this beautiful day here.
